Your Devotional message for 14th Jan 2021
Scripture:
Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership (1 Timothy 4:14).
Explanation:
One of the gifts of God that is misunderstood and underused in the body of Christ is prophecy inclusive of foretelling (predict the future) and forth telling. It is underused as some think it is no longer needed today and it is misunderstood as we think it is always predictive.
In today Daily Meditation, day 14 of 31 days we will meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series the Keys for success in 2022’-By prophecy. As we begin the new year, you must realize that positioning for success is essential. Another major key for success in life is wrapped up in the stirring up of the gift of the Holy Spirit in you as Christian. Paul instructed Timothy Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership (1 Timothy 4:14).
Likewise, in the body of Christ, just as we need Wisdom for everyday living likewise God has made available to the church access to the gift of prophecy and Spirit of prophecy.
Here are the scriptures:
And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the Lord (1 Samuel 3:20).
Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).
When they came there to the hill, there was a group of prophets to meet him; then the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them (1 Samuel 10:10).
(Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he spoke thus: “Come, let us go to the seer”; for he who is now called a prophet was formerly called a seer) (1 Samuel 9:9).
I have also spoken by the prophets and have multiplied visions; I have given symbols through the witness of the prophets”(Hosea 12:10)
By a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved (Hosea 12:13).
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy (1 Corinthians 14:1).
Finally, the gift of prophecy and the Spirit of Prophecy are given to God to know the secrets and the deep things of God. Revelation of God is progressive, and we will continue to learn more through the Word of God.
May you excel with your God giving gift this year in the name of Jesus.

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another new year and a new day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life, and supernatural ability at work in me. I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the power through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victories every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Prayer Points:
1. Thank You Father for raising me a prophet to bring me out of Egypt.
2. Father, I stir up the gift of prophecy and the Spirit of prophecy in me. 3.Every agenda of darkness against my advancement in life be destroyed by Fire in the name of Jesus.
