Your Devotional message for 14th July, 2023.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 14 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord, My Divine Helper’-Help in trouble.
One of the ways by which the Lord helps us is by helping us to come out of trouble and the path of destruction. The scripture says that redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16). Many of the troubles that appeared to men hardly announce their coming. Therefore, arise the need to watch and pray for the help of God. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
David was faced with trouble with His enemies:
Lord, how they have increased who trouble me!
Many are they who rise up against me.Many are they who say of me,“There is no help for him in God.” SelahBut You, O Lord, are a shield for me,My glory and the One who lifts up my head (Psalm 3:1-3).
His assurance not to fear. Fear is a spirit and works against faith.
But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine (Isaiah 43:1).
May He send you help from the sanctuary and strengthen you out of Zion (Psalm 20:2).
I pray with you today that as you are reading this daily meditation, may the Lord arise and be your Helper and may He deliver you from all evil works in the name of Jesus.
