Your Daily Devotional Message for 12th October

Scripture:
“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:17).
Explanation:
We continue today, day 13 of the 31 days of our new series called when ‘The Lord Spoke’.
The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study and meditation on hearing the Voice of God. Several scriptures confirm how the word of the Lord came to His people. God has never seized to speak through His Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God (John 1:1-2). Today we will gain further understanding of the theme ‘hearing the Voice of God’, more importantly by the Rhema of God’s word.
Rhema is the word which the Lord speaks the second time. As for me, it is also a Word spoken second time to fulfil the Logos. Several such Words of God in the Old Testament were fulfilled in the New Testament. Have you ever heard a word of God repeating itself inside your spirit man? This is Rhema. Example of such was the prophecy of Isaiah but He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,  that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sickness” (Matthew 8:16-17).
Here are a few other examples of the scriptures expounding on Hearing the Revelation Gifts:
God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God (Psalm 62:11).
Finally, let it be in your contemplation that rhema of God is real. “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrew 4:12).

In the Month of October 2021, do not miss any day as we will be meditating on ‘When the Lord Speaks’
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:

Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner. Lord show me Your glory. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are opened to His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!

But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not (Jeremiah 20:9b).
