Embrace the love of God

Your Devotional Message for 13th November

Scripture:
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).

Explanation:

We will continue in our Daily Meditation today, day 13 of 30 days of our series called living ‘the Higher spiritual life in Christ Jesus’ in which we have been called. Wewill meditateonscriptures that pertain to thelove of God. It is impossible to live a higher dimension of life in Christ without the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God.

Paul mentioned three important factors in his benediction to the Corinthians. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).We have been going through these benedictions in the last 3 days. Today we will meditate on the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

To experience the higher life in Christ Jesus, you must know and appreciate the Love of God:

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13).For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love (Galatians 5:6).

To operate in the power of God, you must have the love of God in you. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
“Therefore, My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again (John 10:17).Faith and Love are essential to be able to move in the Power of God. A Lawyer asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets”(Matthew 22:36-40).

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing (1 Corinthians 13:1-3).

Here are a few other examples of the  scriptures expounding onhow to walk in the Spirit:

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us (Romans 5:5).

Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?

Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting  from all your sins and accept  Him as Your Lord and saviour.

Thanks be to God for His fullness,  grace and His victory. Glory be to God!In the Month of November 2021, do not miss any day as  we  meditate on ‘Higher Spiritual life in Christ’

Faith Confession of the Month:

Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have the  glory of God. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are exercised for His divine revelations.

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4).Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healing, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my  Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance  and victory  are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
