Your Devotional message for 13th November 2022
Scripture:
“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; (Zechariah 12:10a).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 13of the 30 days of the month ofNovember, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series‘The Encounter with the Spirit’.
Today we will continue our daily meditation (DM) on the Spirit of Supplication and Grace.By supplication we mean that whenever you must earnestly entreat The Lord in His power for help or a favour over a matter.Grace is the unmerited favour or ability of God.
The prophecy of God through Prophet Zechariah was fulfilled at the Cross of Jesus Christ.
“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn (Zechariah 12:10).
After Daniel understood by the Books of prophecy of Jeremiah the number of the years specified as seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem had past, he entreated the Lord.Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, (Daniel 9:3-4).
The subsequent answer was brought by appearance of Angel Gabriel who talked with him (Daniel 9:20-27).

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers (Acts 1:14).
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; (Philippians 4:6).
My prayer to you is thatthe Lord God will do great wonders in your life today that will make your enemies tremble in Jesus’ name. Amen

Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine.
This month I shall have an encounter with the Spirit of Lord that will catapult me into my ordained destiny.I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
