Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 13 of 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God – the Jehovah Rapha’ – The problem of afflicted soul.
The nature of man as a tripartite man has been poorly acceptable among elites. The reality of this is however unquestionable. To be healthy and strong have become an illusion to many who have been devasted by news of terrible diagnosis. However, as Christian divine health is our right as well as preserving our body, soul and spirit from affliction. Let us look at aspect of soul affliction.
And it will consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful field, Both soul and body; And they will be as when a sick man wastes away (Isaiah 10:18).
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 2).
Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back (Isaiah 38:17).
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:14-16).
