Scripture:
And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore (1 Kings 4:29, NKJV).
Explanation;
The greatest counsel is contained in Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding. The book of Genesis to Revelation contains the Wisdom of God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God that gives Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding. We had examined the life of men of God who excelled as they were gifted with Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Today is day 12, we shall be exploring the wisdom and wealth of Solomon. Solomon’s reign was noted as an era of unprecedented prosperity in Israel due to his wisdom, a quality bestowed upon him by God. God appeared to Solomon in a dream and asked him what he wanted most, and Solomon replied, “an understanding heart to govern your people, able to discern between good and evil” (I Kings 3:9). Solomon found that he was amid great people as a King that was numerous to be numbered and counted. And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.
And God said, “behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days. So, if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days” (1 Kings 3:12-14).
And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore (1 Kings 4:29, NKJV). Thus, Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt (1 King 4:29-30, NKJV). Israel grew prosperous under Solomon, and indeed there is evidence that the Levant was experiencing strong economic growth as regional trade increased in the region. Solomon’s wealth was exceedingly great, and the Proverbs and Songs of Solomon were other examples of a man with wisdom.
Finally, my prayer is that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17),
Stay tune as we shall look continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
Confession:
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon me, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2). I give thanks to the Lord, making mention of others in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of my understanding being enlightened; that I may know what the hope of His calling is, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. I declare that I operate in Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding for business, finance, innovation, and scientific discovery beyond human imagination. I prosper these days; I begin prospering and until I become very prosperous.
From today I declare my victory and protection through the Blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth (Proverbs 4:5, NKJV).
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever (Psalm 111:10, NKJV).
