Arise, shine; for your light has come! and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 12 of 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Arise and shine’.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on ‘Arise and shine’ – Your light has come.
The significance of light of God is to eliminate darkness. Jesus Christ came as the light of the World. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (Jogn 1:4-5). The scriptures say that “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1). So light is crucial as it brings revelation of the Word of God.
But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
May you receive the power and the strength of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.
