Your Devotional Message for 12th December
Scripture:
O Lord my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; and deliver me (Psalm 7:1)
Explanation:
Often, there are people among the Christians who would think that deliverance means casting out demons (exorcism). Deliverance is a broader thing and goes beyond exorcism.
In Today Daily Meditation, day 12 of 30 days we will do an expose on our new series called ‘Victory in Christ Jesus’ throughout the month.The purpose of this series is to gain and apply the knowledge of the Victory purchasedby the Lord Jesus Christ.But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). In today Daily Meditation, we will meditate on scriptures on the victory in Christ Jesus through thePower of His deliverance.O Lord my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; and deliver me (Psalm 7:1).
Certain things in life can be a mystery. This is because Life is very spiritual. The devil and his forces of darkness are the greatest adversaries of man. The devil’s agenda holds on to his three-fold ministry – to steal, to kill and to destroy. Devil and his cohort of darkness fights against men capitalizing on their Ignorance. However, the scripture has clearly revealed that “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6: 12-13). These are the hierarchy of demonic spirits that controls and negatively influences men’s life, territory and even rampaging effects on nation. There is clearly evil day.
The scripture in Psalm 91 gives us examples of issues that confront people:
Verse 3: the snare of the fowler, perilous pestilence, terror by night, arrow of the day,
Verse 6: Pestilence that walks in darkness, and destruction at noonday.
Isaiah 58:6 bondage, wickedness, oppression, and affliction.These are the more reasons that deliverance is so crucial.
Therefore, that is why people need deliverance. The Holy Spirit does the work of God. God also uses or send Angels to deliver His servant.
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the Victory through the Power of His deliverance:
The scripture cannot be broken that “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16). God has about over 100 weapons and armory to fight the spiritual enemies such the Blood of Jesus, Holy Spirit, the Fire of the Holy Ghost, the sword of the Spirit and many. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled (2 Corinthians 10:3-6, NKJV).
Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7). We submit to God.
In conclusion, know that whatever situation you are faced, it may look so terrible. Do not loose heart. For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:19, NKJV). And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11, NKJV).
Prayer and fasting are indispensable. Without His Power, you might see less manifestation and pray for the Power and Glory of God.
Therefore, Angelic deliverance is necessary when you are facing difficult challenges such as near success syndrome or battle limiting your prosperity. You can ask God to send your angels for battle.
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting from all your sins and accept Him as Your Lord and saviour.

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
