Your Devotional message for 12th June, 2023.
Scripture:
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matthew 6:15).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 12 of the 30 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The God that answers prayers’ –Forgiveness.
Prayer is not only an act of communication with Divinity, but an actualization of His Will on the Earth. The nature of sin that started with Adams is still operating as flesh in many lives today. This is critical as a sinful life can be an hinderance to an answered prayer and blessing. The scripture says Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit, there is no deceit. (Psalm 32:1-2).
Forgiveness of sin was in Solomon’s prayer saying: then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers (1 King 8:34).
This is the reason behind the need for forgiveness of sins. Forgiveness is very crucial that Jesus Christ thought this in the Model prayer to His Disciples. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors (Matthew 6:12).
When Jesus Christ met the paralytic man, He addressed the nature of sins in his life. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you (Mark 2:5).
Thanks be to God for the precious blood of Christ that gave us redemption from sins.
O Lord manifest your great wonders through Your mighty power in me today that will glorify Your name for good.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Today, let me encourage you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.
I pray with you today, may you experience a supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!

Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
