Biblical text:
“Teach me, and I will hold my tongue; Cause me to understand wherein I have erred (Job 6:24).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 12 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Ministry of the Word of God’ – Teach me Your Word.
For the Lord your God is the greatest Teacher. The scriptures have shown us that God can teach you. “Teach me, and I will hold my tongue; Cause me to understand wherein I have erred (Job 6:24).
Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all day (Psalm 25:5).
Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.” (Matthew 8:19).
Therefore, understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you (Deuteronomy 9:3).
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord (Amos 8:11).
Hear the word of the Lord, You children of Israel, For the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “There is no truth or mercy Or knowledge of God in the land (Hosea 4:1).
