Your Devotional message for 11th October 2022
Scripture:
And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided” (Genesis 22:14).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 11 of the 31 days of the month of October , we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘‘The Name of the Lord’ — Jehovah Jireh (The Lord will Provide).
From Genesis to Revelation God has revealed Himself to the Israelites as their Jehovah Jireh (The Lord is my Provider). Jehovah-Jireh is first used in the Old Testament with a story of Abraham. Abraham’s faith was tested when he received a fresh set of instructions from God to go to the land of Moriah and offer his son as a sacrifice on the mountain that the Lord will show him (Genesis 22:2). Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey and took his son. On arrival, Isaac saw the prepared altar that is fire and wood for the burnt offering and ask where the lamb for a burnt offering is. While Abraham took the knife to slay his son, and Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven.
And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” (Genesis 22:12). And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided” (Genesis 22:14).
I pray for you that May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
