Your Devotional message for 11th October
Scripture: Indeed, these are the mere edges of His ways, and how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?” (Job 26:14, NKJV).
Explanation:
We continue today, day 11of the 31 days of our new series called when ‘The Lord Spoke’.
The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study and meditation on hearing the Voice of God. One of the challenges of people is their understanding of the spiritual language as they want to use physical senses to hear the heavenly language. The scripture says that,but the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14). This is like a man who wants light during the night in his lounge but fail to switch on the light. Well, such a man will remain in his dark lounge until he finds the electric switch. This is the irony of many lives these days. You are erred to think that the natural man is designed to receive the things of the Spirit of God. You must have your spiritual senses attuned. For instance, it is possible for God to speak to you or any man without the understanding. Spiritual language is coded and requires understanding through the Holy Spirit.

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them (Acts 13:2). Today as we gain an improved understanding of the theme ‘hearing the Voice of God’, more importantly you must be aware that the understanding of the Spiritual language of the Spirit of God is vital and requires learning. In the next few days, you will appreciate that God speaks to people through different ways mainly His Words. We will investigate various ways of divine communication in the scriptures, as we explore the voice of God, visions, dreams, prophecy, prophetic pictures, and many others.

Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner. Lord show me Your glory. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes,and other spiritual senses are opened to His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4).Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
