Your Devotional message for 11th August, 2023.

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance (Psalm 16.6).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 11 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The great promises of God’ – Inheritance.
We will explore another great promise of God to His children today as saying that we have a good inheritance not in the heaven but on this earth. The idea of inheritance has existed with God from the beginning as Adam was endowed with the earth. For instance, when Jacob blessed Joseph, he was reminded of inheritance. Your offspring whom you beget after them shall be yours; they will be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance (Genesis 48:6). Job was not an exception. In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers (Job 42:15).

Concerning the New Testament promise of inheritance, being born again or in Christ is a reason to be qualified for this inheritance of the saints.
Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light (Colossians 1:12).
For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise (Galatians 3:18).
I pray for you that may you discover the Truth that will set you on course for the rest of this year in the name of Jesus.
