Your Devotional Message for 11th September 2021
Scripture:
‘For I will look on you favourably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you (Leviticus 26:9).
Explanation:
Today, day 11 of the 30 days of our Daily Meditation, we will examine examples of how the favour of God confirms His Covenant. The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s favour. In order to confirm His Covenant which, He has made and bring it to past, God can go beyond His way to bring it to past.
So, God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob (Exodus 2:24).It is written that ‘For I will look on you favourably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you (Leviticus 26:9).
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the favour of God is a doorway to greatness:
The Covenant of greatness upon Joseph while he was in Egypt: Joseph had a dream and told his brethren. So, he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed, your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”(Genesis 37:6-7).
But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison (Genesis 39:21). Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams and provided the King’s with the Wisdom of God that He acknowledged him a man with the Spirit of God. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt”(Genesis 41:41)
Daniel became the third ruler in Babylonian Kingdom: Now God had brought Daniel into the favour and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs (Daniel 1:9). As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams (Daniel 1:19). Then Belshazzar gave the command, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a chain of gold around his neck and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom (Daniel 5:29).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His favour on you and before men.
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of September 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The favour of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
