Your Devotional message for 11th April 2021
Scripture:
Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name, which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11, NKJV)
Explanation
Everyone is known by his or her name. During Ages, God manifested Himself over ages and were given Names. God manifested Himself to Abraham. Later He appeared to Moses, as the God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and The God of Jacob.
The prophecy in Isaiah 9:6, already was given by God to let us know the attributes in the Name: For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. The Wonderful name of Jesus is powerful.
As believer, we are to use the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to ask whatever we want in His name. The Name of Jesus is a refuge and banner.
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. Today as you read, ask Jesus to give you divine health and healing. Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name, which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11, NKJV). Every living and non-living thing are subject to the Names Jesus.
There is Power in the Name of Jesus. The name of Jesus Christ has Power in his name. He will give strength to your body. He will energise your body.
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” There is deliverance in the Name of Jesus. He gave authority in His Name to cast out demons (Mark 16: 17-18). Similarly, Peter used the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” (Acts 3:6, NKJV)
There is Healing in the Name, such as if you lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
There is Authority in the name of Jesus Christ. During the time that Christ was present, He called the disciples and gave them Authority to use His names. Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven (Luke 10:19, NKJV –

Confession:
The word of God is in my mouth. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is piercing even to the division of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, and is a discerner of my thoughts and intents of the heart.
I prosper in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. My body is healthy and strong. I refuse sickness, diseases, and evils of this world. I exercise my dominion over devil and the cohorts of darkness. From today I declare my victory and protection in the name of Jesus.
