Biblical text:
“Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? (Jeremiah 23:29).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 11 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Ministry of the Word of God’ – The Word like a fire.
For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24). The word of God is likewise like wire. “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? (Jeremiah 23:29). The Fire of God is a mighty weapon of God as a purifier to one and a judgement to the evil ones.

Therefore, understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you (Deuteronomy 9:3).
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord (Amos 8:11).
Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:4-5).
Hear the word of the Lord, You children of Israel, For the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “There is no truth or mercy Or knowledge of God in the land (Hosea 4:1).
