Scripture:
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33)
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 10 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Thy Kingdom come’ – Seek first the Kingdom.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on the scriptures that relates to our chosen topic for today ‘Seek first the Kingdom’
Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore! (1 Chronicles 16:11). The Kingdom of God exists and therefore the Lord requires us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness as a matter of our daily priority. The consequence is that all other things in life will be added as Add on. This is an irony of life that most people seek either money, fame or others first before seeking the Kingdom of God.
“Therefore, do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble (Matthew 6:31-34).
May you receive the power and the supernatural grace of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.
