Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 10 of 31 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘‘The Power of God’’ – Power over unclean spirits.
The Bible has revealed that uncleans spirits are also called demonic spirits. They are spirits within the Kingdom of Darkness and their mission is to steal, kill and to destroy. Their impacts are still noticeable in the lives of many till today. Thanks be to God for the sacrificial offering of the blood of Jesus.
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).
And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits (Mark 6:7).
Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out” (Luke 4:36).
And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.” (Hebrews 1:7).
And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all (Acts 4:33).
