Your Devotional message for 8th August 2021
Scripture:
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
Explanation:
In today, day 10 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation, on this series of the Grace and Mercy of God we will explore the grace of God for deliverance. The purpose of this series is ushering us to a deeper study on the knowledge of God regarding Grace and Mercy. We will examine the Grace for deliverance. Deliverance is not only about casting out demons but inclusive of His healing, victory over evils and wickedness, protection, guidance, leading to the right path. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). I pray that the Grace and Mercy of God will be multiplied to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Here are a few of the scriptures expounding on the grace of God for deliverance.
So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 5:21).
The Holy Spirit anointed Jesus Christ with Power: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).
Justification in life by His grace: Through Adamic sins, judgement came to men, in contrary the righteous act of Jesus Christ justification in life came.
Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life (Romans 5:18).
The scripture shows different spiritual descriptions of sickness and diseases in a form of curse, affliction, oppression, bondage, and the works of the devil l. However, Jesus Christ came to destroy devil’s works. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
Finally, you must grow in the grace by the Word of God:
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Then you need the grace of God as a gift of His divine ability to work things out for you. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of August 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The Grace and Mercy of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:17).
