Your Devotional message for 10th January 2023
Scripture:
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
Explanation:
The Light of God is the answer to darkness according to the scriptures. It is not an ordinary instruction for the Lord Jesus to inform His disciples to Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Many Christians will desire to see the manifestation of greater works of God in their life as we begin this year 20123. People similarly asked the Lord Jesus Christ such question: Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” (John 6:28). You must be full of the Light of God in this year 2023. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light (Matthew 6:22).
As you walk in the glory of the Lord the Holy Spirit you will gain inner strength and the Holy Spirit will reveal His counsel about the Promises of God, His plans, guidance, direction, instructions, and enlightenment.
I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus.
In today Daily Meditation, day 10 of the 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series ‘The counsel of the Lord’
Jesus Christ is the Light of God revealed:
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.”
A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel”(Luke 2:32).
One of the benefits of God’s Light:
For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light (Mark 4:22).

As we journey through the month of January 2023, I pray for you that you may be victorious no matter what come your way. I pray that His mercy and grace will preserve you and keep you in the name of Jesus. You will walk in the counsel of the Lord for your life. Glory be to God.

This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
