Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 10 of 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Arise and shine’.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on ‘Arise and shine’ – Power to shine.
The scriptures make it clear the importance of the power of God in our dominion on this earth. Apostles were examples of this as they became men of great power doing impossibility. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all (Acts 4:33).
Example of deacons in the new Testament is Stephen. Although, theologians may argue why Stephen died prematurely as he was killed by his enemies, one thing is certain, he was reckoned as a man of faith and power. The bible says that “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people” (Acts 6:8). And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke (Acts 6:10). But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7).
May you receive the power and the strength of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.
