Your Devotional Message for 10th December
Scripture:
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So, shall I be saved from my enemies (2 Samuel 22:4).
Explanation:
Praise is an act of expression of admiration and one’s respect and gratitude towards the Almighty God.This brings the Divine presence of God and allows God to take over your battle of life. In Today Daily Meditation, day 10 of 30 days we will do an expose on our new series called ‘Victory in Christ Jesus’ throughout the month. The purpose of this series is to gain and apply the knowledge of the Victory purchased by the blood of Jesus. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). In today Daily Meditation, we will meditate on scriptures on the victory of God through the Power of praise and thanksgiving.I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So, shall I be saved from my enemies (2 Samuel 22:4). Praise is a weapon of victory against hard bondage, difficult life challenges and terrible afflictions.
Are you a righteous, then know that the battle is not yours, but God’s:
One of the mysteries of praise was seen when the Moabite and Ammonites came to the battle against Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah (2 Chronicles 20:3). Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel amid the assembly and prophesied. Then the Levites of the children Kohathites and Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high. Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated(2 Chronicles 20:22).
King Solomon finished and dedicated the Temple:
Fire came down when Solomon had finished praying and presenting the burnt offering and the sacrifices and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. Fire came down and the glory of the Lord filled the Temple. “Then the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said to him: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice” (2 Chronicles 7:12).
Paul and Silas had victory:
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains were loosed (Acts 16:25-26).
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding onthe hand of the Lord:
To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever (Psalm 30:12).
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people(Psalm 9:11).
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34:1).
Every invisible battle confronting your life be scattered by Fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting from all your sins and accept Him as Your Lord and saviour.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
In the Month of December 2021, do not miss any day as we meditate on ‘Victory in Christ Jesus’
Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
