Your Devotional message for 10th April, 2023.
Scripture:
Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:15).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 10 of the 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Love of God’ – Victory through the blood.
It is by the Love of God to have allowed His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to be murdered, beaten, tortured, and shamed for our sin. Jesus Christ was offered as a sacrifice and died on the Cross and He was laid on the Tomb. On the third day He rose again, and He is alive, even confirmed by Angels of Heavens. He conquered and striped power from the devil. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15: 57).
The scripture says and you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:13-15).
Our victory is guaranteed even in the mist of satanic opposition.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?(1 John 5:4-5).
