Your Devotional message for 10th July, 2023.
Scripture:
For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me(Psalm 18:39).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 10 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord, My Divine Helper’-Strength from Zion.
Have you met people who have tried every lifestyle advice you can think off, despite these activities their strength continues to fail them and become vulnerable to the point of attempting suicide? Yet, many failed to gain insight that life is very spiritual, because many life events that happen to men emanate from the realm of the spirit. You can receive strength from the Lord in your spirit man.
The Jews were brought out of Egypt by the strength of God. The scripture says “God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox” (Numbers 23:22).
The Holy Spirit in the life of the believer gives strength and helps you to overcome life challenges that spring from the spirit realm or from enemy, the devil.For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me (Psalm 18:39).
To activate the Strength of God in you, let your mouth must speak the word of God. For example, the word of God you can speak when you wake up with bad dream could be:
The Lord is my light and my salvation;Whom shall I fear?The Lord is the strength of my life;Of whom shall I be afraid?When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell (Psalm 27:1-2).
May He send you help from the sanctuary and strengthen you out of Zion (Psalm 20:2).
I pray with you today that as you are reading this daily meditation, may the Lord arise and be your Helper and may He deliver you from all evil works in the name of Jesus.
