Your Devotional message for 10th April 2021
Scripture:
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.”(Matthew 8:16-17, NKJV).
Explanation:
When I first came across the above scripture that —- “He Himself took our infirmities
and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:16-17, NKJV) in 2010 I asked myself a question if this is so, why are there still many sick people together in the community? The problem is not God’s agenda that His people are sick and run down. The church is not even an exception today. It was not too long that I understood that you cannot use physical means to explain the spiritual essence of a matter. Spiritual things of God can be revealed by the Holy Spirit. The Highest Truth about sickness and diseases is that Jesus Christ took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. The reality is that Jesus Christ has already done everything for you to live in Divine health and healing especially if you are in Christ. However, this Higher Truth is not automatic.
Remember Our God is a Jehovah Rapha. God said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26, NKJV). God revealed Himself to Moses and the Israelites as the Lord that heals our infirmities and sicknesses.
Today as many as call upon and use the Name of Jesus continues to receive Divine Health and Healing. No wonder why Peter wrote that Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed (1 Peter 2:24, NKJV). However, this experience requires you to have the knowledge of Christ because everything in His Kingdom can only be obtainable by Faith. The Love, grace, mercy, and compassion of God can give us access to this spiritual blessing. The Holy Spirit allows the finished works to manifest as in the scripture. Thus, when evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”(Matthew 8:16-17, NKJV).
In 2 Peter 1:3-4, (NKJV), we understood that His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Jesus Christ has given us authority to heal the sick. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover (Mark 16:15-18, NKJV).
To receive Divine health and healing, you need to believe His Words that relate to Healing, you must confess, and declare them. You must act like Father Abraham who did not stagger in Faith through unbelief but giving glory to God that Who has promised will also make it to come to past. I pray that this will become your revelation as you gain this knowledge and obtain your healings. Glory be to God.

The word of God is in my mouth. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is piercing even to the division of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, and is a discerner of my thoughts and intents of the heart.
I prosper in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. My body is healthy and strong. I refuse sickness, diseases, and evils of this world. I exercise my dominion over devil and the cohorts of darkness. From today I declare my victory and protection in the name of Jesus.
