Your Devotional message for 1st May 2021
Scripture:
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 2, NKJV).
Explanation
In our society today, the question about prosperity teaching has been an area of debate even among believers and especially around the controversy generated from misunderstanding. Does God still prosper His people today? Yes, however, the knowledge, Power and Faith to receive this Promise of God is indispensable. The purpose of this 31 days Prosperity in Life Challenge is based on the values of our Ministry to bring transformation to many lives – Transform Lives / Raising Disciples and Affluent. It is important to understand the knowledge of the Word of God and how to approach or receive Prosperity from the Lord.
The Jehovah Jireh is the Lord the Provider. He provided for Abraham, blessed Him and His generation. He is still blessing lives today just as he blessed the Patriarchs in the Scripture. God desires in your prosperity. You can only receive Whatever He has provided by Faith in His Word. Everything that we need has been provided and will be released to you by Faith response. Let us respond to His Words because He desires for us to prosper.
In this month of May, we shall be meditating on the scriptures for our prosperity.
The Lord gives Power to get wealth to establish His sworn covenant:
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may stablish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day (Deuteronomy 8:18, NKJV).
Following the call of Abraham, The Lord made Him a blessing:
“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you;
and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:2-3).
He became rich in silver and gold as the currency of those days was in silver and gold:
“Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold” (Genesis 13:2).
Isaac reaped a plentiful harvest from His Business of sowing because of the Power of the blessing on His life:
“Then Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him” (Genesis 26:12).
God desires in the prosperity of your spirit, soul and body and other areas of life:

The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit man, soul, and body. I prosper in my spirit, soul and body and other areas of life as well as health even as my soul prospers in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus.
