Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 9 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The great promises of God’ – Great deliverance.
One of the exceedingly great promises of God to His children or disciples of Christ is the deliverance. “But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness;
The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions (Obadiah 1:17). The power of God to deliver you from power of evil and darkness is available through prayers or with fasting.
God gave us may promises of deliverance from adversaries. Deliverance is not only about casting out demons, but protection from harms from wicked enemies. Examples are deliverance of Daniel from the Lion’s den, Deliverance of Mordecai from the plot of Harman.
The Bible such as the book of psalms gives us examples of such promise of God.

He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man (Psalm 18:50).
Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday (Psalm 91:3-6).
I pray for you that may you discover the Truth that will set you on course for the rest of this year in the name of Jesus.
