Your Devotional message for 9th August 2022
Scripture:
Great deliverance He gives to His king, and shows mercy to His anointed, to David and his descendants forevermore (Psalm 18:50).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 8 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series‘The exceedingly great promises of God’ –Deliverance.
Another one of the exceedingly great promises of God to His children or disciples of Christ is the deliverance. The power of God to deliver you from power of evil and darkness is available through prayers or with fasting.
God gave us may promises of deliverance from adversaries. Deliverance is not only about casting out demons, but protection from harms from wicked enemies. Examples are deliverance of Daniel from the Lion’s den, Deliverance of Mordecai from the plot of Harman.
The Bible such as the book of psalms gives us examples of such promise of God.
Great deliverance He gives to His king, and shows mercy to His anointed, to David and his descendants forevermore (Psalm 18:50).
He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man (Psalm 18:50).
Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge;His truth shall be your shield and buckler.You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday (Psalm 91:3-6).
Further scriptures:
Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men; Preserve me from violent men, (Psalm 140:1).
You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah (Psalm 32:7).
He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven no evil shall touch you (Job 5:19).
May you experience the promises of God by His Spirit in the Month of August.

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life.I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
