Biblical text:
And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you (Genesis 17:7).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 09 of 31 days of the month of October, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Covenant-keeping God’ – God establishes His covenant.
Through the scriptures, we understood the responsibility to establish the covenant is with God Almighty. In the Old Testament covenant was established through the blood of goats and calves. Thank God for the new covenant that was established through the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you (Genesis 17:7).
Thus, I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Genesis 9:11).
Therefore, keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do (Deuteronomy 29:9).
But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises (Hebrews 8:6).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
