Your Devotional message for 9th July 2022
Scripture:
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 09 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Anointing’ – The Spirit of counsel.
Today we will look at the Spirit of counsel as one of the 7 Spirits of God. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
A counsel is an advice received following consultation. Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counsellors they are established (Proverbs 15:22).
There is counsel of God and counsel of His will. “With Him are wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding” (Job 12:13). You must realise and believe that while the Greatest Counsellor is the Holy Spirit, there is also demonic counsel contrary to God’s. The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsels of the wicked are deceitful (Proverbs 12:5).
A few other examples of the scriptures on counsel:
I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons (Psalm 16:7).
The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect (Psalm 33:10).
For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27).

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. With the help of the Anointing of God, I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

1. Thanks be to God for His leading and instructions by the Spirit of counsel and the counsel of His will.
2. My Father in this month, I decree and declare that I receive power, riches, and wisdom,
and strength, honour, glory, and blessing.
3. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine under war right now.
