Scripture:
A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out (Leviticus 6:13).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 09 of 30 days of the month of April we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God is a consuming fire’ – Fire upon the altar.
We are still on the act of meditation on the chosen topic ‘Our God is a consuming Fire.’ The disciples of Jesus Christ following the day Pentecost received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire. The Fire is still burning as the new Testament is a mirror image of the old one, wherein animal sacrifices are done away with as the Lord Jesus Christ completed the work on the Cross. In the Old, we saw a typo of the Fire on the altar, for instance the law of the burnt offering and trespass offering.
And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out (Leviticus 6:12-13).
Let us study the example of David:
And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called on the Lord; and He answered him from heaven by fire on the altar of burnt offering (1 Chronicles 21:26).
When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple (2 Chronicles 7:1).
May you receive the Fire of God that brings healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.

For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest (Hebrews 12:18).
Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
