Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 09 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Ministry of the Word of God’ – The word of God is powerful.
Throughout ages it is a daily recurrent to men that the word of God is powerful. It is the same word that God created the universe. It is by the word that Jesus Christ spoke to the storm, and it seized. It is by the Word of God that the red sea parted for the children of Israel.
And now I pray, O God of Israel, let Your word come true, which You have spoken to Your servant David my father (1 Kings 8:26).
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).
For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings (Hoseas 6:6).
Hear the word of the Lord, You children of Israel, For the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “There is no truth or mercy Or knowledge of God in the land (Hosea 4:1).
