And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many (Mark 14:24).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 08 of 31 days of the month of October, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Covenant-keeping God’ – The blood of the covenant.
Through the scriptures, we understood either the new and old covenant was establish the blood. In the Old Testament covenant was establish through the blood of goats and calves. Thank God for the new covenant that was establish through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many (Mark 14:24).
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:11-14).
Therefore, keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do (Deuteronomy 29:9).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
