Scripture:
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both you and your descendants may live (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 8 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blessing of the Lord’ – The choice is yours.
While the God of Heavens is the creator, there is still a Law of choice he gave to human on your right as far as His Kingdom is concerned. The choice is yours to demand a change from poverty to abundance or blessing and cursing. Such is the example of the blessing and the curse that was set before the Jews.

The choice is based on:
But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it(Deuteronomy 30:14).
in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess (Deuteronomy 30:16).
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day (Deuteronomy 8:17-18).
“Nevertheless, I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you (Ezekiel 16:60).
And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many (Mark 14:24).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
