Scripture:
Therefore, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, Will send leanness among his fat ones; and under his glory He will kindle a burning Like the burning of a fire (Isaiah 10:16).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 08 of 30 days of the month of April we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God is a consuming fire’ – His ministers a flame of fire.
The disciples of Jesus Christ following the day Pentecost received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire. This certainly enabled them to be empowered to do the works. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen (Mark 16:20). Similarly, the scripture says And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire (Hebrews 1:7).
And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: Fire is necessary as a weapon to bring under control the activities of darkness over our lives. So ensure you receive a flame of Fire.
“I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire (Daniel 7:9
May you receive the Fire of God that brings healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
