Your Devotional message for 7th May 2022
Scripture:
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Luke 3:16 b).
Explanation:
In my early days, I did not know the importance of the Fire of the Holy Spirit. Quick did I know that the Fire plays a significant role in healings and deliverance from demonic spirits. The Fire of the Holy Spirit is one of the weapons of warfare given to the believer in spiritual warfare. My prayer to you as you read this edition of Daily Meditation that His healing anointing will manifest in your life in the name of Jesus.
In today Daily Meditation, day 07 of the 31 days of the month of May, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series ‘God is The Healer’ – The Fire of the Holy Spirit.
Here are the scriptures:
Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Fire:
John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire(Luke 3:16 ).
Be a Minister of Fire:
And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire” (Hebrews 1:7).
The chaff shall be burn with unquenchable fire:
His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire (Luke 3:17).
Judgement on the wicked spirit:
Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.” So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken (1 Kings 18:24).
In flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:8).
Jesus Christ received the fullness of the Seven Spirits of God:
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. My life prospers, continued prospering, and I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Prayer Points:
1. Thanks be to God Who gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit.
2. O Lord I pray; I ask for the fullness of Holy Spirit.
3. I call upon the Holy Ghost and Fire, to destroy every scheme of the devil against my life in the name of Jesus. 4. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine under war right now.
