In today Daily Meditation, day 6 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Thy Kingdom come’ – The authority of the name Jesus.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on the scriptures that relates to our chosen topic for today ‘The authority of the name Jesus.’
The disciples of Jesus were thought by Jesus, and they knew the authority in the use of the name Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus Christ also is revealed to be used by His disciples as authority is vested in the name.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen (Matthew 28:18-
Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name, which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).
