Your Devotional message for 6th March, 2023.
Scripture:
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant (1 Corinthians 12:1).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 06 of the 31 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The works of God’ – The gifts of the Holy Spirit.
A spiritual gift is not own by anyone but given by God. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are so crucial to enhance the works of God through you. It is an expression of the grace of God over a Christian life to carry out the works beyond human knowledge. God anointed and placed His children into office of Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist, and Teacher. A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men (Proverbs 18:16). Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry operates in all the gifts of the Spirit. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all (1 Corinthians 12:4-6).
Therefore, the spiritual gifts are essential spiritual virtues that enables you to work the works of God to profit all.
Do not be ignorant of spiritual gifts in your walk with God:
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant (1 Corinthians 12:1).
You need to desire spiritual gifts:
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. (1 Corinthians 14:1).
We have seen the works of Christ in deliverance, healings, His glory, His power, His works, and Acts. Even till today, no one can explain the process of God’s works.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit:
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:8-11, NKJV).
I pray for you today may you be baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire so that you will experience His wondrous works over your life, His mercy, blessing, success, and progress shall be evident in your life in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.

Prosperity is mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
