Your Devotional message for 6th October 2022
Scripture:
And God said to Moses, “I Am that I Am.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ (Exodus 3:14)
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 6of the 31 days of the month of October , we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series‘‘The Name of the Lord’
– Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh (I Am that I Am).
One of the sovereign names of God is Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh (I Am that I Am). This is very supernatural as His name explains how great and mighty God and He is Eternal. During the first encounter of Moses with God, the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. God introduced Himself as the God of his father – ‘the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’ for the purpose of acquaintance. Moses was afraid to look upon God.Here is what God said: Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt(Exodus 3:9-10).And God said to Moses, “I Am that I Am.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ (Exodus 3:14).Moses had 2 assignments he must carry out, first he must go and demand liberty from Pharaoh. Secondly, he must announce deliverance to God’s people and to tell the people of Israel of their redemption from slavery and bondage.
I pray for you that as you called upon the name of the Lord in this month, you will be delivered by the Mighty hand of God from all your enemies in the name of Jesus Christ.

I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians (Exodus 6:7).
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM (John 8:58).

Today, let me encourage you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.

Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
