Scripture:
Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous (Psalm 112:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 06 of 31 days of the month of July we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The light of God’ – light in the darkness.
There is clear comparison between light and darkness. Darkness often precedes light, and darkness disappears in the presence of light. Likewise, is the light of God appearing in the atmosphere where darkness exists and will disappears with light of God. Darkness is a representative of evil and ramification of its wicked powers. The scripture reveals to us that God is the Creator of darkness and night.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness (Genesis 1:1-4).
Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous (Psalm 112:4).
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).

May you receive the abundance of light of God that brings forth transformation and restoration to issues caused by darkness in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
