Scripture:
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day (Deuteronomy 8:18).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 6 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blessing of the Lord’ – The Abrahamic blessing.
There is an entity called the power for wealth. A man can either receive God’s power for wealth or not have it. God bestowed a generational blessing upon Abraham that is still evident today upon the Jews. Soon after leaving bondage of slavery in Egypt, children of Israel was warned against self-gratification and forget the Lord their God.
Then you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.’ “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day (Deuteronomy 8:17-18).
behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honour, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days (1 Kings 3:12-13).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
