Your Devotional message for 24th June 2022
Scripture:
Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so, the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses (Deuteronomy 34:9)
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 06 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Anointing’ – The Spirit of wisdom.
Today we will look at the Spirit of wisdom as one of the 7 Spirits of God. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
It may be difficult to define Wisdom, but it is the ability to use and apply knowledge effectively. The God of Heavens is the author of wisdom. Clearly the scriptures tell us how important wisdom is and of the Spirit of wisdom.
Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7). For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her (Proverbs 8:11). And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore. Thus, Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt (1 King 4:29-30).
A few other examples of the scriptures on the Spirit of wisdom:
Example of Jesus Christ:
And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him (Luke 2:40).
Example of Bezalel:
And Moses said to the children of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in knowledge and all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold and silver and bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of artistic workmanship (Exodus 35:30-33).
Paul’s prayer to Ephesians and this is to you:
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17).
May you experience the fullness of the blessings and grace in every area of your life in the month of July.

Today, let me encourage you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. With the help of the Anointing of God, I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

2. My Father as I pray, I decree and declare that I receive power, riches, and wisdom,
And strength, honour, glory, and blessing.
3. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine under war right now.
