Your Devotional message for 6th February 2023
Scripture:
Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:10).
Explanation:
In the Old Testament, Moses and the Jews experienced one of such experience of the glory of God through visible signs of the Glory of God. What amazing scenes to see a bush burning but the bush is not consumed! In another scene: “The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel” (Exodus 24:17). Moses showed us how to ask the Lord the King of glory for His glory. And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” (Exodus 33:18).
The Psalmist shows to us what happens to gates and everlasting doors when the Lord of Hosts come into your life. Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in (Psalm 24:10).
Jesus Christ is the glory of God. We have access to ask for His glory. For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory (2 Corinthians 3:9).
We thank God for the glory of the Lord, we thank God that the Holy Spirit will overshadow us with power throughout the entire year with remarkable victory and success in the name of Jesus Christ.
In today Daily Meditation, day 6 of the 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on these scriptures relating to our new series ‘The Lord of Hosts’.
Jesus Christ is God (The Lord of Hosts) depends on the Holy Spirit:
Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:7-10).

Jesus Christ said that: “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory” (Matthew 25:31).
I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.

Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine.
This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
