Your Devotional message for 6th Feb 2021
Scriptures:
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people (Matthew 9:35).
Explanation:
The Gospel means good news. We have highlighted the reality of the Kingdom of God. The new message in the Kingdom of God is the Gospel of the Kingdom. Have you noticed that in the World today not all news is good news? There is more shocking news that can lead to fear or panic in the media than good news today.
I found that one of the purposes of the Gospel is liberation because “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; (Luke 4:18).
In today Daily Meditation, day 06 of 28 days, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating toour new series the ‘The Kingdom of God’-The Gospel of the Kingdom.
The scripture says that “then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people” (Matthew 9:35).
One of the amazing things is that the Gospel of the Kingdom is what Jesus Christ preached in about all cities and villages He reached. And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel (Mark 1:15).
Similarly, the disciples went on preaching similar Gospel of the Kingdom.
“So, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans” (Acts 8:25).
Today, not all preaching even in most churches contains good news. It is amazing that the Gospel of Christ releases the Power of Godto salvation(Dunamis or Exousia).
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”(Romans 1:16-17).
As you meditate on this Gospel, may you experience the transforming Power of God today in the name of Jesus Christ.
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life, and supernatural ability at work in me. The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the Power of the Holy Spirit. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life.
Thy Kingdom come and Your will be done in my life as it is in Heaven. I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. My life is prospering, flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

1. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the good news of salvation, healing, deliverance, and the blessing.
2. I pray for the greater Fire of God to flow through me now in the name of Jesus. 3.I am a receiver of great power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honour and glory and blessing of the Kingdom of God
