Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient (Exodus 24:7).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 05 of 31 days of the month of October, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Covenant-keeping God’ – The book of the covenant
We discussed yesterday that God’s covenant is generational and conditional between God and man. The covenant deed between a man and God is written as a book of the covenant. Covenant is an agreement that is binding by an oath. I am believing God to be catapulted to a new level of glory and knowledge of God with regards to the God of the covenant.
Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient (Exodus 24:7).
Then the king commanded all the people, saying, “Keep the Passover to the Lord your God, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant” (2 Kings 23:21).
The king went up to the house of the Lord, with all the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem—the priests and the Levites, and all the people, great and small. And he read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant which had been found in the house of the Lord (2 Chronicles 34:30).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
