Your Devotional message for 5th May 2022
Scripture:
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).
Explanation:
The Holy Spirit plays a significant role in Jesus’s Earthly Ministry with regards to Healings, deliverance, miracles, signs and wonders. I pray for you that His healing anointing will manifest in your life in the name of Jesus.
In today Daily Meditation, day05of the 31days of the month of May, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating toour new series ‘God is The Healer’ – Holy Spirit in Healings

The Holy Spirit is a person of the Triune of God:
The Holy Spirit does all the works and Acts of God. Jesus Christ had to be anointed with Holy Spirit. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).
Jesus Christ received the fullness of the Seven Spirits of God:
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2). The grace of God was upon Him.
The importance of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire:
John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to lose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Luke 3:16). As a Christian, the Baptism and filling of the Holy Spirit is very important. The anointing is tangible and transferrable. You can feel it as breathe coming upon you, like Fire around you or some feel it like electricity.
And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. My life prospers, continued prospering, and I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Prayer Points:
1. Thanks be to GodWho gives us the Holy Spirit freely.
2. O Lord I pray; I ask for the supernatural manifestations of Your healing anointing.
3. I call upon the Holy Spirit, to destroy any power of darkness and altar behind my issue 4. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine under war right now.
