Biblical text:
And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you (Genesis 17:7).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 04 of 31 days of the month of October, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Covenant-keeping God’ – God’s Covenant is generational.
God’s covenant is generational and conditional between God and man. The covenant deed between a man and God is a requirement for a rewarding walk with God. Covenant is an agreement that is binding by an oath. I am believing God to be catapulted to a new level of glory and knowledge of God with regards to the God of the covenant.
When God met and promised Abraham this is what He has to say. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you (Genesis 17:7).
“Therefore, know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments (Deuteronomy 7:9).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
