Your Devotional message for 4th January 2023
Scripture:
“All this,” said David, “the Lord made me understand in writing, by His hand upon me, all the works of these plans (1 Chronicles 28:19).
Explanation:
Many Christians have written about their plans for 2023. This is good by asking God for His counsel concerning those plans. There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand (Proverbs 19:21). Within His counsel are His Promises, plans, guidance, direction, instruction, and enlightenment. David showed us a good example here in the scripture: “All this,” said David, “the Lord made me understand in writing, by His hand upon me, all the works of these plans (1 Chronicles 28:19).
I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus.
In today Daily Meditation, day 04 of the 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series ‘The counsel of the Lord’
The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect (Psalm 33:10).
The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations (Psalm 33:11).
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Plans are established by counsel; By wise counsel wage war (Proverbs 20:18).
Moreover, I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously (2 Samuel 7:10).
As we journey through the month of January 2023, I pray for you that you may be victorious no matter what come your way. I pray that His mercy and grace will preserve you and keep you in the name of Jesus. You will walk in the counsel of the Lord for your life. Glory be to God.

Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine.
This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
