Your Devotional message for 4th July 2022
Scripture:
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:11).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 04 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Anointing’ -The Fire of the Holy Ghost.
The Ministry of the Holy Spirit and Fire is a necessity to live a Christian life, most importantly the Fire of the Holy Ghost. And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God (Revelation 4:5). The Fire does many works especially healings, deliverance, judgement, and destructions of evil works.
We must be baptised with the Holy Spirit and Fire. It is possible that you are a Christian yet without the baptism of Fire. John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to lose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Luke 3:16, NKJV.
This was a great experience of the Apostles who waited for the Promise at Pentecost. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).
A few other examples of the scriptures on The Fire of the Holy Ghost:
“Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:11, NKJV).
And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire (Hebrews 1:7).

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. With the help of the Anointing of God, I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life .I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
